Amy Fix

Faculty Support, English as a New Language

Amy teaches English as a New Language at Scecina Memorial High School in Indianapolis, IN, and also serves as their coordinator of MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports). She earned her undergraduate degree at Butler University in Spanish and Journalism and completed her teaching certification at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. She has taught for 20 years, the first 18 in Spanish. She completed her ENL  licensure through the University of Notre Dame in 2019-2020. In whatever free time she may magically find, she loves to read, attend her teenagers’ activities with her husband, and hike. Amy is honored to be part of the ENL team.
