CLEVELAND, Ohio – Two schools in the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland will join the network of Notre Dame ACE Academies this school year, in a partnership between the diocese and the University of Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Education.

St. Anthony of Padua School in Akron and St. Augustine Catholic School in Barberton will be part of ACE’s network, which creates thriving and resilient Catholic schools through an emphasis on Catholic school culture, strong teaching and learning and operational vitality.

As demographics in churches and schools continue to change, ACE seeks to empower teachers and leaders through the Latino Educator and Administrator Development (LEAD) program. Erin and Phong Vu never could have imagined the life that would unfold from accepting the invitation to teaching with the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE).

(Chamberlain, S.D.) – Staff from all over St. Joseph’s Indian School’s campus and Native Hope turned out for an outdoor parade on Tuesday, August 10, to welcome back 133 first through eighth-grade students. The event started this past year with social distancing, and everyone so enjoyed it that there was no question it would happen again this year.
