I thought teaching should be about serving kids” to “I found what it really means to be Catholic and to love and serve God through loving and serving others"? This transformation of spirit was only possible through what Robison describes as the “perfect storm.”
“It is a lie, when we talk of a God that doesn’t comfort us,” Fr. Greg Boyle, SJ, told the ACE community last week. “And so we go to the margins, and we imagine a circle of compassion, and we imagine nobody’s standing outside that circle.”

OAKLAND – Bishop Michael C. Barber, SJ, has appointed Rodney Pierre-Antoine as the founding executive director of the new Lumen Christi Academies, a network of seven elementary schools within the Diocese of Oakland. Pierre-Antoine will begin his work in leading the new network May 14, 2018.
