Best Practices of Teacher Recruitment and Retention
Purpose Statement:
The purpose of this action research project was to determine the best practices of faculty and staff recruitment and retention in order to establish an effective Catholic academic institution.
Research Questions:
1. What factors increase the job satisfaction of educators?
2. What strategies can administrators implement in order to increase the retention of teachers?
3. As new teachers enter the educational market, what qualities are they looking for in a school when deciding to accept an offered position?
