Characteristics of Presidents of Ursuline High Schools
Purpose Statement:
The purpose of this action research was to identify the skills possessed by effective presidents of all-girl Ursuline high schools and to determine how these skills are related to both job performance and job satisfaction. Analysis of the results from this study will benefit the field of educational administration by detailing specific skills possessed by Ursuline high school presidents and correlating those skills to satisfactory job performance.
Research Questions:
Is there a style of leadership that is common to those serving as Ursuline presidents? Are there specific skills that successful presidents possess which benefit them in this role?
