Developing a New Teacher Induction Program at Saint Patrick High School
Purpose Statement:
The purpose of this action research was to design and evaluate the initial components of a new teacher induction program.
Research Questions:
How does guidance in classroom management and lesson planning support new teachers? How do the past needs of 2nd and 3rd year teachers inform the design of an induction program? What are the participants' (i.e., mentees') perceptions on the mentoring relationship?
