Perspectives on a New Observation, Self-Reflection, and Growth Process at Charlotte Catholic High School
Purpose Statement:
The purpose of this study was to explore the faculty and administrative perspectives on the impact of a new teacher observation, reflective practice, and growth process.
Research Questions:
According to teachers, what impact did the new process have on their ability to evaluate their own teaching practices? According to administrators, what impact did the new process have on their ability to evaluate teachers? How did both teachers and the administration view the new process in light of trying to close the perceived distance between the administration and faculty at CCHS?
