Providing Support for Teachers in a School with a Large Hispanic Enrollment
Purpose Statement:
The purpose of this action research project was to study the knowledge, attitude, feelings, mind-set, and needs of teachers working in an urban school with a large Hispanic enrollment.
Research Questions:
Since St. Philip Neri School is 96% Hispanic, what do teachers and staff members identify as primary concerns or issues regarding the commitment of teaching in an urban school with a large Hispanic enrollment? What impact will professional development programs focusing on Hispanic culture have on teacher knowledge, attitudes, feelings, mind-set, and needs?
