The Nativity/Miguel School Structure and its Impact on Language Arts
Purpose Statement:
The purpose of this research is to evaluate the structure of the academic program that has been implemented at GRMS and its affects on student learning, while also gaining insight into the impact of the block Language Arts period.
Research Questions:
What are the attitudes and opinions of students regarding the NativityMiguel academic model? What is the impact of the structure of the NativityMiguel academic model on student learning in Language Arts? Do students who participate in the block Language Arts period demonstrate higher standardized test scores than students who do not participate in the block period?
