What do you hope to do/accomplish as an ACE Teacher?

As an ACE teacher, I hope to promote a positive, Christ-centered environment for students. I hope to encourage students to pursue excellence and virtue, and I hope to learn from them as well. Most of all, I hope to spread the joy of the Gospel every day!

What experiences at your undergraduate institution helped shape your decision to pursue teaching as a possible vocation?

Through my involvement at Bama Catholic and the deepening of my prayer life, I discerned a call to faith-based service. After expressing possible interest in the field of education to one of the biology professors on campus, I began to work as an undergraduate teaching assistant in a general biology lab course. During this experience, I uncovered a strong passion for learning and the pursuit of knowledge. I was made aware of ACE through the Ambassador on my campus, and I knew that ACE would provide a perfect opportunity for Catholic service through educating young people.

How do you hope to grow in your experience as an ACE Ambassador/Intern?

As an ACE Ambassador, I hope to share my discernment experience and build valuable relationships with my peers. In addition, I hope to spread ACE's mission to all who may be interested in service.
