What do you hope to do/accomplish as an ACE Teacher?

I want to be a warm welcome for my students and I hope to be a small blessing to each student. I also hope that in whatever subject I end up teaching, I will be able make it fun and interesting for my students while being rooted in Catholic tradition.

What experiences at your undergraduate institution helped shape your decision to pursue teaching as a possible vocation?

The first interaction I had with ACE was at a BP ACE night hosted by one of the RAs in my dorm. At the time, I was an architecture major, but I felt like I had a calling to work with kids. After a lot of prayer and discernment as well as talking to everyone I could who is involved with ACE, I decided to switch my major to math. After speaking with advisors and other ACE students, I also added the ESS minor, which has definitely helped me prepare for teaching.

How do you hope to grow in your experience as an ACE Ambassador/Intern?

As an ACE intern, I hope to be like so many before me who helped me discern my own vocation. I also hope to grow in faith with the members of ACE and prepare for my time as a teacher.
