Life in the City

Fort Worth has a great downtown, amazing restaurants, museums, history, a major university, botanic gardens, and a great nightlife. It also is a great size; it’s big enough to have everything you might want, but small enough to be manageable.

Fort Worth

Fort Worth is home to about half a million people, and is located 45 minutes from Dallas. It is nicknamed “Cow Town” because of its Historic Stockyards, which look like something straight out of the Old West, complete with cobblestone streets, Billy Bob’s Texas (the biggest honky-tonk bar in the country), a mechanical bull, and Texas longhorns that are walked through the street twice a day. In our opinion, we think it is the best city in Texas-- and apparently we're not alone in that sentiment since Fort Worth has been voted one of the "most livable cities in America."
